Chance and Happenstance
These collages came about as a result of a little game inspired by Dada antics. Relying upon chance, I put my hand in an envelop and blindly pulled out 4 images at a time. I had to make a collage entirely out of these random scraps. It was uncanny to see which images Fate chose, and how they often corresponded exactly to my mood or preoccupations.

What a fun way to to approach your work, go back to tried and true techniques of other well known groups. When I need a little creativity boost I often turn to the exquisite corpse.
ooh, yes, i love exquisite corpse. there's also a wonderful variation where you write poetry on each segment of the folded page instead of drawing.
